Minicon 2011 Sept 17 2011

I think it is time to start thinking about games that are going to be brought/run at Minicon. I will be bringing Dominion, Acension, Starcraft the board game, super munchkin, and lunch money.

"I would mention that MiniCon is open to all. We offer up a buffet of gaming to show what possible games you find in the PGA throughout the semster. True we would be well pleased if you join the club but not required. And you might see a game or two that'll appear at PlatteCon our annual gaming con in March.
Come sample our wares..don't cost nut'n. :)"

I'm leaning toward running Star Wars for my first session.

If I can make it count me in Kosh. Wouldn't want to miss a game run by the master.

Super-duper awkwardly late to the party, but I'll be there.

I'll be bringing...something. It may be a playtest session for PlatteCon, it may be one-shot RPG-ish game, is may be something more experimental. Frankly, I haven't the foggiest ATM*.

Will possibly be there - if I do will bring 7 Wonders (card game that plays 3-7 in half an hour), and a boardgame or 2

After much deliberation (and having just played this weekend), I'll be running one or more one-shot sessions of Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition. The games will be open to all, consist of a simple dungeon crawl, and pre-generated characters will be provided. I think I'll try to shoot for two hour sessions, with the possibility of running something longer in the evening if there's a group interested.

For the StarWars I could take seven players, no previous experience required.

Good MiniCon & nice crowd at the 2nd meeting of the year. And our Sec. checked to make those interested were in a game. Good job Hiliary, that helps, sometimes gamers can be shy & just need a little nudge.
Also, DOOM the board game is pretty cool.
