MiniCon and September Meetup

September 9th, 2011

Two events are going on next weekend, so there’s no excuse to not get some gaming in!

In Platteville we’ll be having MiniCon on Saturday, September 17, an annual informal open gaming day put on by the Platteville Gaming Association (PGA) at UW-Platteville. It will start right after the weekly PGA meeting which is at 12:00 noon in the Computer Conference Room in the back of the Bears Den of the Markee Pioneer Student Center (MPSC). MiniCon itself will take place in the Pioneer Crossing on the lower level of the MPSC around 12:30pm. Bring your games, or jump in on any that interest you. This event is open to everyone, and we especially like to welcome our new freshmen. This will last all through the day and probably well into the evening.

Also on Saturday, September 17, Madison Traditional Gaming is having their September monthly meetup. This is a great group with whom we’ve developed some relations. Expect to see a big variety of traditional roleplaying games such as original D&D and Classic Traveller. The meetup will be held at the Madison Public Library – Pinney Branch starting at 9:00am and going through the afternoon.
